PC耐熱,抗沖擊,阻燃,在普通使用溫度內(nèi)都有良好的機(jī)械性能。同性能接近聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯相比,聚碳酸酯的耐沖擊性能好,折射率高,加工性 能好,不需要添加劑就具有UL94 V-0級阻燃性能。但是聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯相對聚碳酸酯價(jià)格較低,并可通過本體聚合的方法生產(chǎn)大型的器件。隨著聚碳酸酯生產(chǎn)規(guī)模的日益擴(kuò)大,聚碳酸酯同聚甲 基丙烯酸甲酯之間的價(jià)格差異在日益縮小。聚碳酸酯的耐磨性差。一些用于易磨損用途的聚碳酸酯器件需要對表面進(jìn)行特殊處理。
PC塑膠原料的吸水率較大,加工前一定要預(yù)熱干燥,純PC干燥120℃,改性PC一般用110℃溫度干燥4小時(shí)以上。干燥時(shí)間不能超過10小時(shí)。一般可用對空擠出法判斷干燥是否足夠。再生料的使用比例可達(dá)20%。在某些情況下,可的使用再生料,實(shí)際份量要視制品的品質(zhì)要求而定。再生料不能同時(shí)混合不同的色母粒,否則會(huì)嚴(yán)重?fù)p壞成品的性質(zhì)。
PC塑料制品由于成本及其它方面的原因,多用改性材料,特別是電工產(chǎn)品,還須增加防火性能,在阻燃的PC和其它塑料合金產(chǎn)品成型時(shí),對注塑機(jī)塑化系統(tǒng)的要求是混合好、耐腐蝕,常規(guī)的塑化螺桿難以做到,在選購時(shí),一定要預(yù)先說明。
PC是一種非晶體工程材料,具有特別好的抗沖擊強(qiáng)度、熱穩(wěn)定性、光澤度、抑制細(xì)菌特性、阻燃特性以及抗污染性。PC的缺口伊估德沖擊強(qiáng)度(otched Izod impact stregth)非常高,并且收縮率很低,一般為0.1%~0.2%。
